Clint Eastwood Plastic Surgery Before and After Photos

Clint Eastwood – Dirty Harry Cleans Up with Plastic Surgery

The American actor Clint Eastwood is known for his long career in acting, mainly playing rough-and-tumble roles, or cowboy roles as a younger man. Today, he has kept his acting career alive, and branched into directing too, which he has been very successful with winning not one but two Academy Awards in the category of Best Director. Part of keeping his face up on the big screen has been taking care of it, and it would appear that part of his regimen involves plastic surgery!

Clint Eastwood is a legend. He is an Academy Award winning director of films like Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby, and an acting legend. More importantly to most men of the last few generations, he’s always been a pretty bad ass dude. I imagine he smells like lumber and beef jerky, and he would slap you dead in the face if you bad mouthed America. However, even the toughest guys in the world sometimes get plastic surgery. Looking at pictures from as late as the early 2000s, and comparing them to pics from the last couple of years, it seems pretty clear that he had a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) to lift the skin above his eyes up and make him look less like leather. Which sucks, because that’s what I dug about him, he looked like a baseball glove, and didn’t care. It’s also rumored he has laser skin resurfacing to take away some of his wrinkles. I don’t know folks, when Dirty Harry is having work done to look prettier, something is wrong with the world.

At more than 80 years of age, Clint is doing great! Many people his age are confined to rest homes or retiree communities, and he is out and about making movies and taking on challenging acting roles. Recently, he appeared to be more refreshed than usual, which is when it became apparent that he had gone under the knife. It would seem that he had a blepharoplasty, or upper eyelid surgery, in order to remove the extra skin from around his eyes.

When an octogenarian is missing hooding and loose skin around the eyes, it’s difficult to suspect anything but plastic surgery is at play. Other parts of his face have not been touched, at least not so drastically, with knife or needle (such as the drooping skin on his forehead), making the eyes stand out even more.

According to Dr. John Di Saia, it’s possible that Eastwood has also used skin resurfacing to appear younger. With all his time spent on-set, the signs of sun damage and general aging should be much more prevalent.

Overall, the procedures have been a success as he has improved his look without taking on the feminine appearance that can sometimes come with male plastic surgery. What do you think, were his surgeries a success? Check out his before and after photos to decide for yourself!

Clint Eastwood Still A Tough Guy After Plastic Surgery

Clint Eastwood’s directing career is getting better with age, as he is easily one of the best directors of our time. The former “Dirty Harry” actor, who already won the Best Directing Oscar twice is nominated again this year for Letters From Iwo Jima. Despite Eastwood’s tough guy persona and rugged image, even he is not immune to the need to keep up his looks. Recent pictures of Eastwood on the Oscars campaign trail for his film have shown possible signs of plastic surgery.

Eastwood’s lack of excess sagging skin around his eyes is uncharacteristic of a man of 76, suggesting a potential blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). Fellow Oscars coverage member plastic surgeon Anthony Youn says, “I do think that at some time in the past Clint has had his upper eyelids lifted. Notice how his brow is excessively droopy, yet he does not seem to have hooding or excessive skin of his upper eyelids. For a man his age, this is somewhat unusual.” Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia had a different postulation, thinking that Eastwood had laser skin resurfacing. “It looks like Clint Eastwood may have received some much needed skin care…probably laser re-surfacing by the looks of these images,” said Dr. Di Saia in his blog. Dr. Youn disagrees, saying “I do not think he has had laser treatments, since his face does show significant age and sun damage.”
