Here's what we know about the near-medical tragedy:

Two months after giving birth, Tameka went to Brazil for liposuction on her stomach, according to Ellen Dasptry, a representative for Sao Paulo plastic surgeon Dr. Silvio Sterman.

Before the surgery could commence, Foster went into cardiac arrest, which led to an induced coma. Said Dasptry:

"When an attack like this happens, the doctors put the patient to sleep... and make sure that everything is okay and that there has not been any damage. This is the protocol every time and this is what was done."

Tameka spent a day in the ICU before being transferred to a larger facility, one of the best in Brazil, Sao Paulo's Hospital Sírio-Libanês.

On February 7, Usher canceled a performance at a pre-Grammy Award party to be by his wife's side.

While many cosmetic surgeons believe no abdominal procedure ought to take place within eight weeks of child birth, Dasptry said Foster was given a clean bill of health.

"In plastic surgery all over the world, there is no rule that says a woman can't have plastic surgery performed two months after childbirth," said Dasptry.

Brazilian plastic surgeon has revealed details of the procedure that temporarily left Usher's wife, Tameka Raymond, in a medically-induced coma.

Two months after giving birth to the couple's second son, Raymond, 38, traveled to Brazil to have liposuction on her stomach, says Ellen Dasptry, a rep for Sao Paulo plastic surgeon Dr. Silvio Sterman, who was to have performed the surgery.

"Tameka Raymond came here on Friday to do a liposuction. Shortly after she went under [general] anesthesia, she suffered a cardiac arrest," Dasptry tells PEOPLE.

Raymond never had the liposuction. According to Dasptry, after her cardiac arrest, Raymond was immediately revived and placed in an induced coma.

"When an attack like this happens, the doctors put the patient to sleep... and make sure that everything is okay and that there has not been any damage," explains Dasptry. "This is the protocol every time and this is what was done."

After a day in the ICU, Raymond was transferred to a larger facility, Sao Paulo's Hospital Sírio-Libanês, considered one of the finest in Brazil, says Dasptry. After nearly a week of recovery, she "is doing very well," says the surgeon's spokeswoman.

On Saturday, Usher canceled a performance at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy gala to fly to Brazil to be at his wife's side. Davis told partygoers the singer had to leave due to "serious injury in the family." Usher and Raymond have two sons: Usher Raymond V, 1, and Naveid Ely Raymond, who is two months old. Raymond also has three sons from a previous relationship.

On Feb. 8, Usher's rep Simone Smalls issued a statement on the star's behalf: "Tameka Raymond is in stable condition after suffering complications from routine surgery in Brazil. Her husband Usher is with her at the hospital. No further details will be released, and the family requests privacy at this difficult time."

Raymond's case has stirred debate within the medical world over whether a wait of two months between giving birth and undergoing liposuction is sufficiently long.

He has a song about sleeping with every girl in the club, stating there is enough of him to go around (ego much?). Other songs speak of sexual trysts with strangers (can you say STDs). While a few tracks extol being unfaithful, which is not admirable.
When I think about the amount of impressionable people Raymond has influenced with these messages, I'm actually quite appalled. He lives the disloyalty he sings about. Foster was deluding herself to think he would be faithful and not sleep with one of her bridesmaids as he did. Changing one's self with plastic surgery for such a man is in vain, because cheating is a way of life to such a person. Keeping a man like that faithful is a joke. They have to want to be faithful.

Shannen Doherty has vowed not to undergo cosmetic surgery to change her looks - because she refuses to conform to Hollywood's rigid standards of beauty.

There's no question that Shannen Doherty had plastic surgery. Her cheeks are puffed out like balloons and she has almost no wrinkles! Shannen’s return to TV and the show that made her famous has put Shannen back in the spotlight. The Post Chronicle reports that Shannen has ruled out plastic surgery, saying

“These are my looks, whether you like them or not. They work for me. I have a gap in the middle of my teeth. You know how many people wanted to cover that gap?

“My parents are like, ‘Don’t ever do that! That’s what makes you different!’ I was raised to have a lot of confidence and believe in myself.”
Despite her protests to the contrary, We as well as other plastic surgery experts, think that Shannen doth protest too much.

Shannen Doherty has changed remarkably little since her time on the first round of Beverly Hills 90210, which is likely the result of some subtle surgical work, like Botox injections to smooth out any wrinkles that appear as Shannen nears middle age. She may also use fillers, like Restylane, to maintain her signature full lips.

She has also had more extensive work in the form of cheek implants and a mid-facelift, which is popular with actors in their 30’s.

Plastic Surgeon Dr. John Di Sai reveals, “Shannen has had facial work. At least a mid-face lift and/or cheek implant. More likely would be a mid-facelift with eyes and a forehead lift between 2000 and now.  Maybe she has ruled any out any more surgery for a while which would be a good choice if I am close.”

Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden thinks that Shannen’s procedures have been less invasive, telling Make Me Heal, “In my opinion, these days Shannon Doherty doesn’t look much older, just different.  One can see this in various photos taken at different angles and lighting at different points in time. This leads one to wonder if either 1) some photos have been retouched or possibly distorted (the Star Magazine cover), as we all know is possible with the photoshop techniques available on most computers today, or 2) she may have undergone some non-permanent, minimally invasive procedures.  For example, in some pics her crow’s feet appear much more prominent than in other more recent ones even though her face is animating (smiling) the same.

This could be due to Botox, which selectively and temporarily paralyzes the muscle called the orbicularis oculi that squeezes the eye shut and also causes those stubborn wrinkles emanating from the corner of the eye.   Also, nonpermanent fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane that are made of hyaluronic acid may have been injected to plump up her lips, nasolabial folds, and cheeks. I have neither examined nor treated her, but I seriously doubt she has had any major plastic surgery done.

We don’t really consider Botox or fillers “plastic surgery” in the sense of a true operation in the operating room with anesthesia– these are minimally invasive injections involving a syringe filled with the product and a needle that registered nurses and doctors can deliver with proper training and certification (that being said– pick your provider wisely!).  In Manhattan, some of these things are just as much a part of maintenance as teeth whitening, brow waxing, and hair highlights.

Some of the unique features of Shannon Doherty’s face that make her memorable include the gap between her two central incisors (front teeth), and the asymmetry between the two halves of her face. Pretty much everyone’s face is asymmetric when the right side is compared to the left; this is one of Shannon’s most distinct, and in my opinion, attractive features.  It makes her who she is.”
In the past, Shannen has also likely had a nose job to give her nose the tiny shape fans adore. She has also probably had a breast augmentation, albeit a subtle one.

Plastic Surgeon Dr. John Di Saia says, “She has probably had breast implants in and out over the years although I can’t be sure.”

In the past, Shannen has sued publications for reporting that she has had work done. At the time, she said, “I’m actually willing to go as far as to go sit down with whatever plastic surgeon they want to put in front of me who can inspect my face.”

It is possible that Shannen is being truthful when she says she is entirely natural. And given her angry history, we don’t want to say definitely otherwise. But it is unlikely that a 37-year old has maintained such a smooth porcelain complexion on her own. On his blog, plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn also hints that he suspects Shannen of having work done, but he declines to say what for fear of legal action.

Shannen looks great, so whether or not she’s had plastic surgery, fans of Brenda Walsh are likely to tune in to see what the bad girl has going on these days.

When I first saw her I thought, “Wow what a big mistake.” It did not even look like the Vicki I have known for the past six years. She was very swollen and tried to hide her face with her hair. After watching, I feel bad for making fun of her now. You will find out as the season goes on I am not very good with emotions. I get sarcastic when I am hurt to help protect me from dealing with my pain. I am truly trying to work on it but after 45 years its not easy to change overnight.

Heather outdid herself again, everything was so beautiful all the way down to her dress. But why NO onion rings? Kidding Fancy Pants. You can tell Terry really tries to push her buttons. I have a similar humor to Terry, so I total get it.”

Looks like she did the right thing, she looks as though she lost a lot of weight and has toned up. With the breast implants, she almost looks like she has a shot at being classy…if only she could do something about that hair and potty mouth.

Plastic surgeon Dr Richard Ellenbogen says, “Those lips remind me of the backside of some barnyard animal. What was her doctor thinking? Then again what was she ever thinking? Last month Amy was booed off stage as she stumbled and slurred incoherently thorough a performance, which led to her canceling her European tour.

According to the British tabloid The Sun, a source close to Amy said, “Amy loves her boobs. She can’t stop touching them and showing them off to friends. She says she feels womanly again and wants to be more curvy like she used to be. She thinks by having another op and bum implants that she will achieve her dream pin-up look.”
While it’s great that Amy seems to have a focus that isn’t a white powder, addiction in any form is never a good idea and people with plastic surgery addictions are never satisfied with their appearance, no matter how many plastic surgery procedures they undergo.

It’s clear that Amy Winehouse also had lip augmentation to make her lips look more plump. It’s unfortunate that instead of being seen as sexier, mostly people just made fun of her for getting too much lip filler put into her mouth. She began to look silly and sloppy due to excessive, and poorly done, plastic surgery procedures such as this one.
Sources who were close to the recording artist knew she wanted to continue with her plastic surgery and get procedures done like butt implants to make her figure curvier and more feminine. Angelyne: Model Turned Plastic Surgery Trainwreck

There’s nothing more fascinating than witnessing the fast-approaching train wreck of a celebrity famous for no reason other than her shameless self-promotion. Well, the mononymous “Angelyne,” queen of shameless self-promotion, is here and she is outfitted in blonde, pink and plastic (Think an old, wrinkled, cosmetically-altered Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde). Angelyne is credited as an American model and actress, but she is most famous for purchasing billboards in Hollywood advertising herself. She drives a pink Corvette and has a pink Maltese named Buddha, but other than that, there isn’t much known to be true about the “Hollywood icon.” Oh, except for the fact that she has invested in loads of bad plastic surgery.

Angelyne seemingly materialized in L.A. in the early 1980s and has since become as much a part of Hollywood as the famous sign itself. Rumor has it that she is 54-years old and despite the obvious cosmetic procedures that Angelyne has undergone, she looks every bit her age and then some.  In addition to ginormous breast implants, it appears that she has also had multiple rhinoplasties, lip injections, brow lift(s) and facelift(s), although it looks like she has somehow forgotten to lift her neck along with her face. Angelyne typically sports heavy pink makeup, false eyelashes, drawn-on eyebrows, frizzy platinum hair and skimpy pink clothing that is far too revealing. (She has, more than once, pulled a “Britney” getting out of her Corvette.)

Her trademark oversized breasts and plumped lips graced billboards around the city. The billboards are down, but the city's plastic surgeons are likely still busy keeping Angelyne appearing picture-perfect 24/7.

Angelyne's age is unknown but she has had more than enough plastic surgery to last a lifetime. As New York plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer claims: "With Angelyne, I don't even know where to start."

The most noticeable feature on Angelyne is definitely her voluptuous breast implants, which practically sag under the effort of being lifted on such a tiny figure. After that, one's gaze travels Angelyne's face, surrounded by a ridiculous amount of frizzy blonde locks and augmented with multiple plastic surgeries to keep an office of plastic surgeons in business for a lifetime.

Dr. Jennifer Walden is quoted as saying: "It seems apparent that Angelyne has undergone breast augmentation, as her breasts are grossly oversized for her petite frame. She may have had a facelift without a necklift as well given the tightness of her face in some areas, but the looseness of her skin in other areas such as her neck."

Angelyne's face is so full of make-up and plastic surgery that it is difficult to suppose all the operations she has undergone, but they almost undeniably include: at least one facelift, a nose job, brow lift. She most likely also gets lip injections and facial fillers on a regular basis as well.

Judging by her looks, it appears that Angelyne's dream was to achieve (mainly through plastic surgery) her transformation into a Barbie doll. In her own words: "Barbie wishes she were me."

The truth is that Angelyne's plastic surgery was definitely a horrible disaster as she has gone overboard with it. It is obvious she is in a denial about her actual age, which makes her look unnatural, creepy and ridiculous.
